1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PennyWise, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

PennyWise is a personal expense tracking application that helps you monitor your spending, set budgets, and analyse your financial habits. The app connects to bank APIs to import transactions automatically.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

4. Financial Data

PennyWise is not a financial advisor. The app provides tools for tracking expenses only. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on the data shown in the app.

5. Bank Connections

Bank connections are facilitated through third-party services (Salt Edge, Plaid, Monobank API). We do not store your banking credentials. All connections use bank-level encryption (256-bit).

6. AI Features

AI-powered features (receipt scanning, expense parsing, chat) use third-party AI services. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated categorizations may contain errors. Always review parsed expenses before saving.

7. Subscriptions

PennyWise Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. Monthly $4.99 / Annual $29.99 (with 7-day free trial). Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

8. Data Storage

Your expense data is stored securely in our cloud database (Supabase). You can export or delete your data at any time through the app settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

PennyWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including loss of data, financial loss, or service interruptions.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
